Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This policy explains how RCL Asia LLC ("RCL Asia", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data. RCL Asia LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of New Mexico, United States, Entity ID 0008074686, with its registered office at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110. RCL Asia is the data controller for the data described below.
1What we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run our business.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16, and we do not collect special categories of personal data such as health, biometric or political data.
2Cookies and tracking
It does load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request to Google's servers and your IP address may be logged by Google in the process. If you would prefer to avoid this, you can block the request at browser level.
3How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement.
- To deliver, manage and support the services agreed with you.
- To issue invoices, take payment and keep accounting records.
- To maintain the security and availability of our website and systems.
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
Where the GDPR or a comparable regime applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (delivering the services), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, securing our systems, running our business), legal obligation (accounting and tax records), and consent where we ask for it — which you may withdraw at any time.
4What we never do
We do not sell personal data. We do not rent, trade or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not send unsolicited marketing email to people who have not contacted us.
5Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who need it to help us operate, and only to the extent necessary. These typically include our web host, our email provider, our payment and accounting providers, and — for client work, and only where the client has instructed it — the advertising and e-commerce platforms used in the engagement. These providers process data on our instructions and are bound by their own confidentiality and data protection obligations.
We may also disclose data where required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
6International transfers
We operate internationally, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, or an adequacy decision where one applies.
7How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 12 months.
- Client records and correspondence: for the duration of the engagement and up to 3 years afterwards.
- Invoices and accounting records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally 7 years.
- Server logs: short retention periods set by our hosting provider.
8Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control on the accounts we hold, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these rights, email robin@rclasiallc.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10Data we process on behalf of clients
When we manage advertising accounts, e-commerce stores or social profiles for a client, any personal data held in those systems belongs to the client, who is the data controller. We act as a processor on the client's documented instructions, and the terms of that processing are set out in the service agreement. We do not use client data for our own purposes.
11Third-party links
This website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing personal data.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published here with the date shown above is the version in force. Material changes will be communicated to active clients in writing.
